The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is located in Dubai and equipped with 5,000 Axor Starck mixers.

Burj Khalifa Dubai

In the Khalifa Tower in the Emirates

The fantasy that for years has taken on an ever-more sophisticated shape on the sand of the United Arab Emirates appears never-ending. Financed by the riches beneath the sand: oil. The latest record is the world’s tallest building, a sky scraper with a height of 828 metres and 189 storeys. More than 5,000 Axor Starck mixers have been fitted in the 162 living areas within the Burj Khalifa and thus have their share in the record: nowhere else in the world have so many Hansgrohe products been installed in one location.

Like Abu Dhabi, Dubai is part of the United Arab Emirates, after whose president the tower has been named.
Alongside the artificial Palm Islands, the Burj Khalifa adds a further jewel to the attractions offered by Dubai. The tower is located in Downtown Dubai where luxury shopping and leisure attractions are developing tourism into a future industry. The viewing platform at a height of approximately 450 metres offers views right across Dubai and beyond. The world’s first Armani Hotel has also opened in the lower section of the Burj Khalifa: the premium-quality Axor mixers are therefore in the best of company.
