The iBox universal 2 is the flexible basis for our concealed installation solutions. The base set is compatible with all hansgrohe and AXOR finish sets (a separately available adapter plate is required for older ranges).
Finish sets are available in a wide range of colours and shapes and offer a variety of functions for controlling water. They feature an impressively compact design and provide ample freedom of movement.
Installation is quick and simple. The concealed basic set is completely waterproof as well as particularly quiet thanks to acoustic decoupling (acoustic group 1).

The sliding sleeve glides easily into the wall however far in the concealed basic set is fitted. This makes the waterproof box even faster to install.
The mounting ring allows the box to be installed in, on or in front of the wall. It can be attached at the front or rear – for simple mounting with any type of installation.
Easily to hand at all times: the pre-assembled sealing cuff with a permanently elastic and waterproof design is firmly attached to the sliding sleeve so it can’t get lost.

The iBox universal 1 is still compatible with the finish sets launched prior to 2023. To be set up for future renovations, we recommend installing the new iBox universal 2.

The new concealed basic set can be combined with all existing and future finish sets from hansgrohe and AXOR.
Is the new iBox universal 2 compatible with older finish sets?
Yes. By using the adapter plate, which you can order separately, you can combine older shower, bath tub and thermostatic mixer finish sets with the iBox universal 2.
