General Terms and Conditions for the Talisman Reward Programme

1. Scope

1.1 The Talisman Specialist Partner Reward Programme (hereinafter referred to as the "Talisman Reward Programme" or “programme”) is provided by

(hereinafter referred to as “HUK”) to promote independent plumbers.

1.2 The purpose of the programme is to reward the purchase and installation of certain products by HUK specialist partners. To this end, HUK sets up a user account for each participating specialist partner. Participants receive points in the form of talismans in their user account in accordance with the following provisions for the purchase of hansgrohe products. The talismans can be redeemed for cash.

3. Registration and Participation 

3.1 Any independent qualified plumber with residence in the UK or Northern Ireland, who acquires talismans through the purchase and installation of selected products (see Section 4 below), may participate in the programme. For legal reasons, the participant and the business decision-maker must be one and the same natural person. The participant is obliged to inform the end customer that the participant will receive rewards in the form of non-monetary or cash payments by participating in the Talisman Reward Programme. Distributors, intermediaries, online retailers, DIY superstores, and similar distributors and their employees are not eligible to participate. Employees of HUK, Hansgrohe SE and other affiliated companies are also not eligible to participate.

3.2 Participation in the Talisman Reward Programme is subject to acceptance of these conditions of participation during the registration process. HUK expressly reserves the right to refuse to allow persons or companies to participate for good cause. HUK reserves the right to check entitlement to participate at any time thereafter and may withdraw the right to participate if necessary. HUK also reserves the right to exclude the participant from further participation in Talisman in the event of misuse. There is no legal entitlement to participate in the programme.

3.3 The participant’s account balance can only be viewed online in a password-protected area and via the information provided with the programme. The participant must protect the login data from access by third parties to prevent misuse.

4. Programme Description 

Talismans are QR codes that are enclosed with selected product ranges. Talismans that have not been acquired by the participant by purchasing products (e.g. that come from third parties who are not eligible to participate) will not be allowed. For the Talisman reward programme, participants can collect talismans and exchange them for a monetary value. Please also see our regular information about special Talisman promotions.

5. Collecting talismans 

5.1 The products referred to und under Section 4 above come with either half or whole talismans as QR codes. The participant can redeem the talismans for a monetary value when a specified level of points is reached. The value of the QR codes is printed on the label. This is the minimum quantity. However, the quantity may be higher for promotions.

5.2 Collected talismans are valid for at least two years and expire at the end of the 31 December of the second calendar year following the year in which they were credited. This means the talismans are valid for between two and three years, depending on when they were credited.

5.3 Passing on talismans to third parties (e.g. by direct sale) constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, QR codes may only be scanned and sent to the Talisman account of your own company. In the event of a breach, HUK is entitled to exclude the participant from the Talisman Reward Programme.

6. Sending and Redeeming Talismans  

6.1 To add talisman QR codes to your account, you need to download an app. You can find more information by visiting pro.hansgrohe.co.uk/service/talisman. Talismans can be redeemed from HUK by cash payouts.

6.2 A cash payout for collected talismans is possible from a minimum of 50 talismans and up to a maximum of 5000 talismans per payout. Payment of talismans constitutes a rebate for HUK deliveries and may only be paid into a business account. Rewards and payouts can only be redeemed by the qualified tradespeople or owners of the specialist partner companies eligible to participate as defined under Section 3.

6.3 There may be a personal tax liability arising from the participation in the Talisman Reward Programme. Each participant is responsible for paying any tax due on the reward benefits or payouts. For legal reasons, tax cannot be applied by HUK. Any such tax liability is the participant’s sole responsibility and HUK will not accept any responsibility for tax liabilities incurred as a result of any receipt by the participant of any reward benefits or payouts.

6.4 It is always the decision of HUK whether a participant is entitled to participate and/or whether the talismans that are sent in are redeemed or not. Talismans that cannot be redeemed because they have been acquired in a way that is not allowed, as described under Section 4, shall be retained by HUK. HUK is entitled to ask the participant to provide proof of purchase of AXOR and hansgrohe products in the form of receipts.

7. Cash Payouts

The participant can use the talismans for a cash payout as soon as the participant has acquired the number of talismans required for the applicable reward and the talismans have been credited to the participant’s Talisman account.

8. Changes to the Conditions of Participation 

HUK reserves the right to discontinue the Talisman Reward Programme with reasonable notice or, if there is good cause, without such notice. HUK also reserves the right to amend these conditions of participation. Any claims already acquired at the time that the Talisman Reward Programme is discontinued or the conditions of participation are changed shall remain unaffected. The change to the conditions of participation shall be treated as approved, unless the participant cancels the contract within four weeks of notice of the change or if the participant continues to collect talismans after the period. HUK is solely responsible for the interpretation of these conditions of participation.

9. Termination 

The participant may terminate his/her participation in the Talisman Reward Programme at any time without notice. Termination shall occur automatically as soon as the participant profile is deleted in the PRO area. The collected points must be redeemed by that time. Unredeemed points shall expire on deletion of the user account. If the participant only wishes to opt out of participation in the Talisman Reward Programme, he/she must contact talisman@hansgrohe.co.uk.

10. Privacy Policy 

HUK protects your personal data and takes appropriate measures to secure your data. When you provide personal information such as name, address, bank details, email address or phone number, this data is used by Hansgrohe Limited for the purpose of implementing the Talisman Reward Programme and for marketing. Corresponding usage profiles are created based on the response data and interests of the participant.
Your data will not be passed on to any third parties. This excludes service providers who are acting on behalf of Hansgrohe Limited and third parties such as the companies affiliated to Hansgrohe Limited.
